SEGi University

Overview:

SEGi was founded in 1977 as Systematic College, a professional education institution in the center of Kuala Lumpur. SEGi has had substantial development since its foundation four decades ago, improving the caliber of its extensive programs spanning from certificate to doctoral degrees. It is one of the oldest private higher education institutions in Malaysia, with four more campuses located in Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Kuching in addition to its main campus in Kota Damansara. SEGi now has 20,000 local and foreign students enrolled on its campuses.

According to QS Stars, a global method for evaluating institutions based on audits, SEGi is “The first Malaysian University that earned 5 Stars for prioritising society’s needs in Malaysia.” With its success in the 2016–2017 Malaysia Quality Evaluation System (MyQuest) ratings for Private Colleges, SEGi has now added another honor to its collection. SEGi College Kuala Lumpur achieved a five-star rating, while SEGi College Subang Jaya, SEGi College Penang, and SEGi College Sarawak received excellent six-star ratings. The six-star ranking, the most honor a private institution may receive in the biennial examination, reflects SEGi’s dedication to provide top-notch instruction.

This shows that SEGi University is among the greatest in the world, offering top-notch teaching quality, having a large student body, recording good employability rates, having a diverse staff and student body, producing excellent research output, and many other things.
