  • Fabrication Laboratory Westminster: Launched in April 2015, the new manufacturing Laboratory Westminster offers a cutting-edge learning environment that inspires and equips students for digital manufacturing in the twenty-first century.

Fabrication Laboratory Westminster, which contains two purpose-built buildings and an array of 3D printers and laser cutters, is a significant expansion of our current architectural studios. It has adaptable computer-controlled tools that can handle a variety of scales, materials, and procedures.

A variety of design and production techniques, such as 3D printing in ABS and plaster, CNC knife cutting, massive CNC routing, CNC metal milling, and robot fabrication, are made possible by the new digital technology. One of the distinctive robots in the group is an industrial robot arm that spans a window from Marylebone Road on a five-meter rail.

Additionally, Fabrication Laboratory Westminster will provide short courses in specialized training and additional resources for PhD and research student assistance.
