In 1867, the University’s founding was discovered. The Maidstone College of Art was founded during that time. The institution then changed its name to The Kent Institute of Art and Design, beginning its journey in 1987 alongside a number of art colleges.

The organization was first founded as a university in 2004. Finally, in the year 2008, this Art Institute receives university status and changes its name to University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

As therefore, individuals from all various backgrounds congregate here and are eager to become part of a tight-knit community. Undergraduate, graduate, and research degrees at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) are flexible and innovative.
